2-Year-Old Hit By Car In Palm Springs

A 2-year-old girl suffered a broken leg and was expected to be fine on Friday when she was hit by a car on Palm Canyon Drive.

The accident happened around 1:30 p.m. near the corner of Andreas, north of downtown.

Palm Springs police told News Channel 3 the little girl got away from her parents and walked into traffic when she was hit. The driver of the car kept driving.

Witnesses said the vehicle was a white Saturn with tinted windows. They didn’t have a description of the driver.
