Cops Nab Robbers In Coachella

Police say four suspects didn’t get far, after a robbery at a convenience store in Coachella early Sunday morning.

It happened around 12:30 a.m. outside the AM PM store on the 52000 block of Harrison Street.

Police say the suspects approached 3 people standing outside the store and demanded money. When they refused, the suspects attacked them and drove off with some of their belongings. The victims were not hurt and no weapons were used.

Within minutes police spotted the suspect vehicle on the 85000 block of Calle Ninos. They pulled the car over and arrested 22 year-old Jesse Gonzalez, 23 year-old Juan Macias, 18 year-old Daniel Gonzalez, and a 16-year old boy. All the suspects are from Coachella.

The men were booked into the Riverside County Jail in Indio on suspicion of robbery. Police took the boy to juvenile hall.
