Overnight Drive-By Shooting In Coachella

An 18 year-old man was sent to the hospital Saturday, after an overnight drive-by shooting in Coachella.

According to Riverside County Shierff’s PIO Courtney Donahoo, the man was walking along the 52000 block of Calle Techa around 1:00 a.m., when somebody shot at him as they passed by in an unknown vehicle.

The man was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries, Donahoo said.

He’s expected to be okay.

There’s no word on a suspect description or a motive for the shooting.
