Northbound Highway 62 Re-Opens After Crash

A three vehicle crash blocked the northbound lanes of Highway 62, a couple miles north of Interstate 10, according to the CHP.

The crash involved two vehicles belonging to the California Department of Transportation, said Ofc. Joe Zagorsky, and happened around 6:30 a.m.

Southbound lanes were re-opened soon afterward, and northbound traffic was allowed to use the roadway again around 2:30 p.m.

Three people were taken to a nearby hospital, two with serious injuries and a third with minor.
