President Clinton Announces Guests, Program For ‘Health Matters’ Conference
After months of planning in New York, President Bill Clinton unveiled the program and featured attendees he has in store for the Clinton Foundation’s inaugural health conference.
“Health Matters: Activating Wellness in Every Generation” will bring together more than 200 professionals in the health care industry, public policy, business, education and individual wellness. the community, and the workplace.
The conference comes right before the Humana Challenge PGA tour. formerly known as the Bob Hope Classic.
Organizers for the event said the conference highlights the tournament’s commitment to health and well-being, and builds on the work of the Clinton Foundation, which has a mission to improve global health, strengthen economies, protect the environment, and promote healthier childhoods through its Alliance for a Healthier Generation.
Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs will act as the lead hospital.
