Man Arrested, Accused In Sky Valley Homicide

A man is in custody, accused in a Sky Valley homicide.

Authorities were called to Rudderrow Lane and Dillon Road around 3 p.m., Sunday afternoon.

Someone called saying a body was lying on the side of the road.

When deputies arrived, they found the man dead and asked for the homicide unit to take over the investigation.

Police then arrested 45-year-old Jason William Brokken Monday afternoon.

The Palm Springs resident was booked at the Riverside County Jail in Indio.

There is no word on what led deputies to the arrest.

The victim has not been identified.
