Overnight House Fire Under Investigation

Fire officials are investigating the cause of a house fire that broke out early Saturday morning in Palm Springs.

It broke out just after 3:30 A.M. on the 2000 block of Farrell Drive, according to the Palm Springs Fire Department.

Arriving firefighters found smoke coming from a vent in the roof, said Battalion Chief John Allen.

They had the fire knocked down in about a half hour.

An estimated $30,000 in damage to the home.

No injuries reported.
