Flooding Shuts Down Date Palm Drive
A broken water main has flooded Date Palm Drive near 33rd Avenue in Cathedral City according to Cathedral City Police.
The water has been shut off, but only one northbound lane is open until tomorrow morning. Cleanup had lanes shut down for several hours Tuesday afternoon.
A construction crew installing underground utilities struck a water main just after 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
