Search warrant in Blythe leads to major drug bust

Law enforcement officials have arrested a 51 year-old woman from Blythe after uncovering significant amounts of methamphetamine and heroin at a residence.

Debra Lee Wright was taken into custody after Blythe police and Riverside County sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant at a residence on the 1500 block of of East Hobson Way.

“Wright was booked on suspicion of possession of heroin and methamphetamine for sale, maintaining a residence where controlled substances are sold or used, and possession of drug paraphernalia”, said sheriff’s Sgt. Thomas Velarde.

Wright is being held at the Riverside County Jail in Indio on
$25,000 bail and is due in court in Blythe on Tuesday.
