Gunman on the loose
This is a sketch of an armed man who is still on the run after using his truck to box in a woman in Palm Desert.
Police say Friday around 3:30 pm the gunman used his truck to block the woman’s car on El Dorado Lane near East Hovely Lane as she was getting in her car, then got out and grabbed a $20 bill from a cup holder in her car and her cell phone. The robber showed the woman a dark colored revolver in his front left pants pocket. The truck was last seen headed North on El Dorado.
The gunman is described as a stocky, shaved-head hispanic man, about 20 years old, and 5’3″ with brown eyes. He was driving an older model dark-colored truck with paper license plates.
