Hikers rescued from ‘Bump & Grind’ trail
Emergency crews rescued two hikers stranded on the Bump and Grind Trail in Rancho Mirage Monday afternoon.
They got the call just after noon from one hiker who said the pair was stranded and one was feeling ill. Cal Fire says crews hoisted both to safety using rope and completed the rescue just after 2:00 p.m.
They were evaluated by medics at the bottom of the trail and both were treated and released on scene.
