Evolve Yoga Studio Opens in La Quinta

The owner of a brand new yoga studio, in La Quinta is balancing career and family, while bringing health and harmony to the valley.
She hopes to show other single moms that it is possible to find peace and success in this ever-changing world.
Now, the village area of La Quinta has it’s own premiere yoga studio, where Bronwyn Ison invites people of all ages to enjoy Mat Pilates, Burn at the Bar, meditation and yoga for all levels.
Ison says, “These are very stressful times and I’ve been through my own and would say between my faith, family and yoga practice, that has allowed me to move forward.”
She grew up in the desert and graduated from Arizona State, with a degree in broadcast journalism, before starting a career in television.
A foot injury led her to discover yoga 14 years ago and she’s practiced ever since, teaching classes at the Vintage Country Club and Empire Polo grounds.
Now, a single mom, with two little girls, she’s starting a new chapter, with her very own studio, Evolve Yoga.
She says, “If mommy can do it, you can do it!”
Her step-dad agrees and says he couldn’t be more proud. Dean Joost says, “People seem drawn to her. It’s quite amazing to see this come together.”
Ison hopes to be a role model for other women, showing them that change is good. She says, “Setting an example for other single moms, who are afraid to go do something. Yes, it’s risky, yes I’m taking a chance, but I don’t feel like I’m biting off more than I can chew. I’m grateful for this opportunity and being able to serve.”
She’s happy to be providing the community with a welcoming environment to relax, breathe and evolve.
