Lou Reed cancels Coachella performances
While there has been no official word from his camp as of late Monday, it is safe to say Lou Reed will not be performing at this year’s Coachella Music and Arts Festival.
Reed wasoriginallyset for to play the Friday of weekends one and two at Coachella, but as of Monday, his name had been taken off the lineup.
As Scenestar reported, Reed has also cancelled shows in San Francisco, Monteray, and Los Angeles planned to go on between his two Coachella dates.
On the Goldenvoice page for the Los Angeles show at the Orpheum Theatre, it states the show has been “cancelled due to unavoidable complications.”
We will let you know when Lou Reed releases a statement on why, exactly, he has pulled out.
