Stagecoach to be broadcast live for first time
Next month’s Stagecoach Country Music Festival will bebroadcast live for the first time, television network AXS TV and the promoterannounced today.
AXS, founded by Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, will carry the three-day festival live from the Empire Polo Club in Indio. The concert is set forApril 26-28.
“AXS TV is proud to be the first broadcast home of Stagecoach CountryMusic Festival,” Cuban said. “Country music fans have always turned to AXS TVas their choice to bring them their favorite artists live.”
The broadcast will have six hours of live coverage daily, including liveperformances, interviews and behind-the-scenes clips. Dwight Yoakam, JeffBridges & The Abiders, Commander Cody, Justin Townes Earle, Lonestar, Nick 13,Rodney Atkins, Tanya Tucker and Trace Adkins will participate in the coverage,according to the network.
