Magnitude 3.7 earthquake centered near Coachella Valley
A magnitude 3.7 earthquake was centered 15 miles southwest of La Quinta Wednesday at 11:17 a.m.
The earthquake came on the heels of amagnitude3.4 that was felt in the same area at 10:50 a.m.
There were no immediate reports of any damage or injuries. RiversideCounty Sheriff’s Cpl. Angel Ramos said no one contacted the sheriff’sdepartment about the quakes.
