Ticket sales announced for upcoming Timothy Bradley fight

Tickets to Coachella Valley resident TimothyBradley’s world welterweight championship boxing match against Juan ManuelMarquez will go sale June 21, promoters announced today.

The fight is scheduled for Oct. 12 at the Thomas & Mack Center at theUniversity of Nevada, Las Vegas, and will be shown live on HBO, according tofight promoter Top Rank.

Bradley, a Cathedral City High School alumnus, is undefeated, thecurrent WBO welterweight champion and former WBO and two-time WBC light-welterweight champion. A year ago, he defeated Manny Pacquiao, becoming thefirst to do so since 2005.

Marquez, who is from Mexico City, is 55-6-1 and will try to become the firstMexican fighter to win world titles in five different weight divisions.
