Palm Desert man arrested on charges of possessing child pornography
A Palm Desert man was arrested Wednesday following a two-week investigation into a report of a man inpossessionof child pornography.
51-year-old Dirk Hampel was arrested at a mobile home park on Highway 74 for possession of child pornography, failure to register as a sex offender, and violation of probation.
The investigation is still ongoing, according to a release for the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
