Cathedral City man killed in Murrieta
A pedestrian was struck by a car and killed today onnorthbound I-215 Freeway in Murrieta, authorities said.
The 24-year-old Cathedral City man died at the scene of his injury,which occurred about 2:20 a.m. south of Murrieta Hot Springs Road, theRiverside County Coroner’s Bureau reported.
Authorities withheld the name of the dead man, pending familynotification. The death was being investigated by the California Highway Patroland the Murrieta Police Department.
