4 people injured in single vehicle crash south of Beaumont

Four people were injured, three of them seriously, in a single-vehicle crash south of Beaumont late Wednesday afternoon.

The crash was reported about 4:55 p.m. on northbound Lambs Canyon Road north of Gillman Springs Road. Some of the injured were trapped in the vehicle — four were transported to a hospital, three with major injuries and one with minor injuries, Riverside County Fire Department spokesman Mark Annas said.

One of the northbound lanes on Lambs Canyon was closed for about an hour for the crash investigation and cleanup, according to the California Highway Patrol.
