Woman arrest on DUI charges in Palm Desert after crashing into median

A suspected drunken driver barreled across a centermedian early today in Palm Desert and was arrested, a sergeant said.

Tiffany Lynn Sill, 21, of Cathedral City, was heading east on FredWaring Drive when she lost control of her Kia Spectra and crossed the raisedcenter median at Elkhorn Trail, Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Ken Black said.

Her vehicle blocked westbound traffic during the mishap that wasreported at 12:21 a.m.

Sill drove alone and escaped injury. She was booked on suspicion ofdrunken driving and released on $2,500 bail, records showed.
