Low-cost vaccination and spay and neuter clinic offered in Indio

Fantasy Springs Resort Casino will host a low-cost vaccination and spaying and neutering clinic for cats and dogs Monday through Wednesday.

The clinic is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day at the Indio casino and will operate out of a mobile unit run by the nonprofit Animal Action League. The group provides services in areas of the valley with limited resources, and the mobile clinic is an insured and licensed facility.

Appointments aren’t needed for vaccinations, which vary in price.

On the same days, veterinarians will neuter male dogs that didn’t get a spot at a free clinic the casino sponsored in July and August. Appointments for male dog neutering are still available — spots for females are full.
