Business fair today showcases Thousand Palms “vibrant”attributes
A free event today will showcase Thousand Palms businesses.
Businesses and county agencies will set up informational booths at the Thousand Palms Community Center, 31-198 Robert Road. The event, which begins at 4 p.m., is organized by the Coachella Valley Enterprise Zone, Thousand Palms Chamber of Commerce, Desert Recreation District and Riverside County.
Prizes and free food, drinks and entertainment will be offered, according to Supervisor John Benoit, who said Thousand Palms has a “vibrant business community” north of Interstate 10.
At the event, Regional Avionics Repair LLC will be named “Enterprise Zone Business of the Year” and Coachella Valley Brewing Co. will be honored as “New Business of the Year,” according to Benoit’s office.
