Burn areas bring flooding concerns

Caltrans has an army of trucks trying to keep roadways open as the rain pushes rocks and debris along mountain roadways.

In the area of Poppet Flats, the site of the Silver Fire last summer, the community is already seeing heavy rain, and small rivers running through the community.

Heavy rain has been reported on Highway 243 with low visibility due to fog.
