72-year-old missing Cathedral City man found, reunited with family
Cathedral City Police have located 72-year-old Ruben Ayala, after he went missing Saturday morning.
Authorities issued a press release that stated Ayala was found in the
68700 block of Ramon Road in Cathedral City.
He was in need of medical assistance and was taken to an area hospital as a precaution, before he was reunited with his family.
The Cathedral City Police Department also thanked the public and members of the
community for their assistance with this investigation.
A Silver Alert was issued in Cathedral City on Saturday night, hours after was last seen at his home near Navajo Trail and Roundup Road.
Ayala suffers from Alzheimer's and Dementia.
