Firefighters are on the scene of a vehicle on fire in a carport in Sky Valley this morning just east of Desert Hot Springs.
They say the flames were threatening a home on the 17300 block of Corkill Road.
It was first reported shortly after 6 a.m. Wednesday.
One person may have suffered an injury and is being checked out by medics.
