La Quinta brush fire contained 2 acres
UPDATE: CalFire says the fire was contained Sunday night.

Crews are on scene of a brush fire in La Quinta. It was reported just before 5:00 Sunday afternoon in the area of Jackson Street and Avenue 62.
CAL FIRE reports the fire was contained at 5:45pm. but not before burning two acres.
The fire started burning a large pile of compost and debris then spread to a travel trailer and nearby brush.
