Lincicome eagles way to playoff, win at ANA Inspiration
Brittany Lincicome provided some drama in the final round of the ANA Inspiration.
The 2009 champion forced a playoff at 9-under par with 2011 champion Stacy Lewis after an eagle on the par-5 18th hole.
Lewis failed to birdie on 18 for the outright win, and instead fell to Lincicomb in a three-hole playoff.
Lincicome and Lewis both parred the first and second playoff holes on 18, but the third chance saw Lewis bogey and Lincicome par for her second ANA Inspiration championship.
54-hole leader Sei Young Kim, who led by three strokes entering the final round, shot a 3-over 75 and ended at 7-under par for the tournament, tied for fourth.
