DCA girls basketball freshman scores 29 points to propel Conquerors into semifinal

Hannah Shaver is a star. And she's only a freshman.

The 9th grader scored 29 points on Monday night, leading DCA over Milken in the CIF-SS Division 5AA quarterfinal.

DCA senior leader Melia Johnson also contributed, commanding the offense and scoring 17 points of her own.

The Conquerors are home on Wednesday against Laguna Beach.
