Armed robber targets Palm Desert liquor store
Police are searching for an armed man who robbed Country Club Liquors in Palm Desert early Sunday morning.
Officers said a man walked into the store, located in the 74000 block of Highway 111, just before 10:30 a.m. and held the clerk at gunpoint while demanding money.
The man fled the store on foot. He’s described as a white man in his early 20’s, about 6’0 with a thin build. He was wearing a dark-colored shirt and dark pants at the time of the robbery.
Nobody was injured.
