Palm Springs Public Library hosts Family Fun Festival

The Palm Springs Public Library held its third annual Family Fun Festival for the community on Wednesday. The family-fun event is held during the Palm Springs Unified School District’s Spring Break.

The event took place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Palm Springs Stadium.

Participating organizations had booths with fun craft games and there was also a petting zoo, bouncy house and other fun events, organizers said. The free event asks families to join together for a fun time.

“The Library has enjoyed spearheading this free event for the community during Spring Break”, said Library Director Jeannie Kays, “it is a fun way for all of us to promote our programs and services and the library gets to preview our upcoming summer reading program.”

The library, located at 300 S. Sunrise Way, will be giving away free books in their booth while supplies last.
