Easter weekend means Easter egg hunts across the valley

It’s Easter in the Coachella Valley, which means lots of egg hunts.

In Coachella Saturday parents and children packed Veterans Park for the annual Egg-Stravaganza.

Kids enjoying candy, getting their hair spray-painted and celebrating the holiday with their families.

“Some parents don’t really do anything for Easter and this is something they can do and show their kids they can have fun with people they don’t know and it’s OK. And it’s free and parents get to join in they have fun too,” said rec leader Taylor Garcia.

Of course there’s no Easter egg hunt without a visit from the Easter Bunny.

Kids of all ages lined up to get their picture taken with him.
