Beaumont Police uncover nearly 12-million dollars in illegal pot

Beaumont Police have seized nearly 12-million dollars of marijuana, in two separate operations.

On Tuesday, they served a warrant on the 100 block of 3rd Street where they discovered a large illegal pot growing operation. Officers seized approximately 2,864 plants with a street value of over 8-million dollars, three people were arrested at the home.

On Wednesday, officers then served a warrant at a home on the 600 block of Luis Estrada where they also discovered an illegal operation, there they found over 900 plants with a street value close to 3 million dollars. No arrests were made at this location.
