Car into Papa Johns building in Indio

A car slammed into the breezeway outside of a Papa John’s pizza restaurant Thursday around 10:00 p.m.

The exterior of the restaurant at the intersection of Madison and Highway 111 in Indio appears to have suffered some moderate damage.

The driver did not suffer any injuries.

There were no passengers in the vehicle, and the vehicle did not breach the restaurant, where people were working inside.
