Man threatens to kill employees at restaurant, suspect in custody

A man is in jail after he allegedly threatened to kill employees at a restaurant in Moreno Valley. The Moreno Valley Police responded to a call outside a restaurant on the 24000 block of Sunnymead Blvd. Officers say when they arrived at the scene they found 56-year-old, Jimmie Lynn Holcomb holding a knife and refusing to leave the property. Officials say the suspect attempted to assault the officers with a knife. The attack was avoided and Holcomb dropped the knife. The suspect was arrested for attempted murder of a peace officers and criminal threats. Holcomb was then booked into the Smith Correctional Facility and is being held on one million dollars bail.
