Authorities identify victim in deadly Desert Center crash

Authorities have identified the victim as 45-year-old Anthony Garcia from Mesa, Arizona. California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers said it happened on the eastbound 10 freeway just after 6:30 this morning. Garcia was the passenger in a 2001 Toyota and was not wearing a seatbelt. He was ejected after the driver, 32-year-old Toni Jamison lost control. The vehicle rolled several times. Jamison suffered moderate injuries and was treated at the scene. The crash is still under investigation.
