Search and rescue crews find missing hiker
Search and rescue crews helped find a missing hiker Sunday night in Palm Springs.
Palm Springs Police officers said Agua Caliente Tribal Rangers contacted their department about a lost hiker in Tahquitz Canyon just before 3 p.m. Sunday.
With the help of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Air Operations Division, Palm Springs Mounted Police Search and Rescue crews and Agua Caliente Tribal Rangers found the hiker just before 10 p.m. Sunday night.
Police said the man was near the First Falls in Tahquitz Canyon.
Crews airlifted him to a nearby landing zone.
Police said the hiker didn’t suffer any injuries.
