House fire contained in Desert Hot Springs

Crews with Riverside County Fire contained a residential structure fire in Desert Hot Springs Monday morning. It occurred on the 66000 block of Desert View Avenue. Fire crews received the call at 5:10 a.m of a fire at a single family home.

Firefighters were able to contain the blaze within 20 minutes. No injuries were reported and the residents will be able to continue staying in the home.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
