RV destroyed in fire at Desert Edge mobile home park

Fire crews with CAL FIRE contained a blaze that broke out in an RV at the Miracle Acres Mobile Home Park in the community of Desert Edge, between the city of Desert Hot Springs and Sky Valley.

Crews said they received a call at 12:47 a.m. about the RV fire at the park. Two people were inside the RV at the time and were able to get out safely. No injuries were reported. Crews were able to put out the fire quickly.

Firefighters said a mobile home next to the RV did catch on fire and sustained light fire damage. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
