Desert Women’s Show attracts thousands
It’s a weekend-long anniversary celebration for the Desert Woman’s Show. More than 2,500 people are expected to attend.
A number of expos and seminars are available, with a spotlight on woman’s health and wellness. Furry friends are also up for adoption.
“It’s an opportunity for women to learn things that maybe they didn’t know even existed, like stem cell therapy is something very new, and it’s an opportunity for women to look at handling maybe a problem with arthritis, or any kind of a health issue. So it’s an opportunity I think anyway to educate, inspire and entertain women. So we try to have a little bit of everything. It’s fun, but you’re learning, but you’re experiencing,” said event producer Diana Marlo Noll.
Proceeds will be divided between Addiction Special Grants, The Parkinson’s Resource Organization and Loving All Animals.
