IID restores power in Sky Valley

Power has been restored to 470 Imperial Irrigation District customers following a late night outage in Sky Valley. The outage was reported just after 10:30 p.m. Sunday night after one of IID’s substations was affected.

According to Marion Champion with IID, the outage was repaired just after 5 a.m. on Monday.

IID officials said the power outage affected customers south of the Sky Valley substation, north of Ford Avenue and east of 16th Avenue past Dry Gulch Road.

Officials said this outage was separate from the one reported earlier in Coachella Sunday afternoon.
