HWY 74 reopens after icy road closure

Highway 74 is back open Tuesday afternoon following a CHP closure due to icy and hazardous conditions.

Highway 74 in Palm Desert westbound from Cahuilla Way all the way up was closed early Tuesday morning.

Only Pinyon Pines residents were allowed up until about 10:30 Tuesday morning.
