Mecca man arrested following sexual assault investigation

Mecca man was arrested following an investigation into a past sexual assault.

26-year old Erick Ceja Galvez was arrested following a Riverside County Sheriff’s investigation that began on October.

Officers obtained a search warrant and upon contacting Galvez, found that he was in possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.

He will be charged with drugging and raping the victim and the additional drug charges. Galvez was booked at the Riverside County Jail in Indio.
