Missing Palm Desert woman found in good health

UPDATE: 93-year-old Socorro Sheenan was found Monday morning in Mecca.

She was located at around 9 this morning, the sheriff’s department reported that Sheehan had been found in good health, about 25 miles east of where she went missing.

They did not elaborate on how she ended up there.

Socorro says she’s missing her dog, who was not found with her.

Around 9:45 p.m. Sunday, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department sent out a tweet about a missing 93-year-old Palm Desert woman believed to be at risk.

The RSO said Socorro Sheehan was last seen near University Park wearing a blue shirt and brown slacks. She is 4 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 108 pounds.
