Deputies arrest burglary suspect in Rancho Mirage

Deputies have arrested a suspect connected to a burglary at the Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage Monday morning. The burglary happened at 6:54 a.m. on Royal Street Georges Way inside the country club.

Authorities set up a perimeter around 7 a.m. and a suspect was taken into custody at 8:45 a.m., Deputy Armando Munoz said.

There’s no word on the suspect’s description yet. The investigation is ongoing and KESQ and CBS Local 2 will deliver updates as soon as we hear back from authorities.
