College of the Desert hosts job fair for students

College students seeking work had the opportunity to meet with nearly 50 companies at a Career & Job Fair hosted by College of the Desert Wednesday.

From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., 46 employers seeking student workers were available to meet with students at the Hilb Building at College of the Desert’s Palm Desert campus.

The employers included Goldenvoice, Eisenhower Medical Insurance, The Annenberg Foundation, Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and more.

The event included music from KCOD, the campus student radio station, which recently won 13 Golden Microphones at the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System’s national awards.
