Indio announces month-long road closures in preparation of April music festivals
The City of Indio is planning road closures and delays spanning over a month in preparation of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival and Stagecoach Country Music Festival in April.
City officials said there will be delays and closures on Avenue 50 between Madison Street and Monroe Street spanning between Monday, April 3, and Friday May 5. Intermittent delays will occur between April 3-13, and full closures will occur April 14-16, 21-23, and 28-30 during the music festivals.
Alternate Routes & Detours: North/South: Washington Street; Jackson Street; Calhoun Street and Golf Center Parkway East/West: Fred Waring Drive; Miles Avenue; Avenue 48 and Avenue 54
City officials said Avenue 50 between Madison Street and Monroe Street will reopen to normal traffic operations on May 5.
