World famous restaurant pops up at Parker Palm Springs

The East is taking over the West for a weekend at Parker Palm Springs. The hotel’s New York location is bringing it’s award winning restaurant “Indian Accent” to Palm Springs this weekend.

The original location of the restaurant is in New Delhi and is the most acclaimed restaurant in India. Parker Palm Springs Executive Chef Herve Glin said he’s excited to see what Chef Manish Mehrotra comes up with.

“I love Indian food and the way he prepares it is exciting, because he does a fusion of cooking and it gives more interest to it. You can have a great biryani, you can have a chicken curry, but the way he does it I’m excited to see the presentation, the way he balances the flavor, because the spice in the Indian food is very important,” Glin said.

The multi course menu includes dishes like sweet pickle ribs with sun dried mango and onion seeds or house made paneer with butter pepper garlic.

The hotel is still accepting reservations, but space is limited. Call 760-321-4629 or book online.
