Former skating champion on quest for history

A former inline speed skating champion is on a quest to raise awareness about an ancestor who was a part of the Lewis and Clark Expedition in the early 19th century.

Cory Skyler Drouillard is the descendant of George Drouillard who served a guide, intepreter and hunter for the famed expedition. He is embarking on his Skate for George tour to tell the story of his fourth great uncle.

He felt the contributions by his ancestor have been understated or forgotten by historians and was instead credited to Sacagawea.
