Deputies locate missing man in Palm Desert
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department has located a missing at-risk man who disappeared from an assisted living center in Palm Desert Wednesday morning.
Authorities did not elaborate on where the man was found, but said he was safe.
An employee at the Fountains at the Carolotta told KESQ News Channel 3 and CBS Local 2’s Joe Galli about the man’s disappearance. The Fountains at the Carlotta are located near Cook Street and Hovely Lane.
According to deputies, 63-year-old Glen Oliveira was last seen wearing green and black sweats, a gray shirt and a black back brace. He also uses a walker. The Palm Desert Police Department asked the public to be on the lookout for Oliveira.
