Minor arrested for attempted robbery of a business

A 17-year-old minor was arrested for allegedly attempting to rob a business on the 58-100 block of Twentynine Palms Highway.

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputies from Morongo Basin Station said the attempted robbery happened on Friday at 3:15 a.m.

The minor was said to to be wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, and a black cloth covering his face.

The minor then allegedly brandished an imitation firearm and demanded money from the store clerk.

After the clerk refused the suspect ran from the business.

After investigating, deputies arrested the minor on the 6000 block of Camarilla Avenue in Yucca Valley.

He was then booked at the Central Juvenile Hall in San Bernardino for attempted Robbery and a probation violation warrant.
